The Admissions Process
Application Procedures
Applications to the College are received each year from April to August for all full time programmes. Application deadlines for part-time and modular courses vary based on the start dates for these courses. Application forms can be obtained at the Student Affairs Office. There is a non-refundable application fee.
Applications may be considered during September but will attract a late application fee.
Completed application forms should be returned with the following documents:
- The applicant’s birth certificate (original and a copy);
- The applicant’s examination results (original and a copy);
- Two character references, chosen from the
following;
- The last school attended.
- The most recent employer.
- Justice of the Peace.
- Minister of Religion).
- Two passport size photographs (certified by one of the persons mentioned above).
Entry Requirements
Entry Requirements will be based on the programme of study to be undertaken by the applicant. Information on entry requirements for available programmes may be obtained at the Student Affairs Office.
Recommendation for Acceptance
On returning the application form, each applicant will be given a date for an interview. At the interview the applicant will be required to present the originals of his/her documents to the interviewer.
Applicants satisfying entry and other College requirements will be given a recommendation for acceptance by the interviewer. The terms and conditions under which the student is accepted into the College will be stated in this recommendation. This form must be signed by both the interviewer and the student and taken to the Student Affairs Office or Registration Centre where a registration package will be issued.
The College reserves the right to reverse its recommendation for acceptance if:
- The applicant is not registered in the College within ten school days of the issue of the recommendation or by the end of September, whichever is later.
- A review of the information presented by the applicant indicates that this course of action is necessary.
